ragging

i'd been pretty much a rag-and-bone man for e past 1 wk. it was a daily routine travellin to nus wif belle every morn to help out at e pharm tentage. we did a lot of cutting, folding n pasting. from cans to cardboards n straws. n i finally learnt how to fold straw hearts-courtesy of e rag pres, yongwend. (: it was a tiring but pretty fun xperience as i gt to noe more seniors in e process, try out different faculty canteen food n reviews of modules from seniors over lunch. they're all very nice n friendly pple. glad to have them as part of our big pharmily!! :D

in e process of ragging, i'd some time out to meet min, belle n cand for our jap day. we went to visit e jap cementry at amk n had our sakae buffet @ sunplaza.

we spent over 30 mins figurin out which bus-stop to take e bus.

n we finally reach e jap cem an hr ltr.

they were "forced" by moi to take pic at e grand entrance :D

found this jap-style house near e entrance of e cem.

it was a hall used for praying n it seems to be open onli on certain occasions.

we walked further down n found this entire patch of grass filled wif engraved stones.

they were all donated by japanese in memory of their family members - e japanese warriors.

we finally found field marshall count terauchi tombstone at e far end of e cem.

it was really as wat was stated in e txbk- his tombstone was facin e rest of e tombstones, as though he was watchin over them. even in death.

trained down to sun plaza n had our sakae buffet (:

had my fav unagi n ebi sushi again n tried their charwanmushi.

cand had 4 charwan while i cant even finish 1 on my own.

wat a great egg lover.

received call from jp-everlast tt my everlast tanktop is here!! so i trained down to jp wif cand to get my shirt. n we went shoppin again. donno wat gt into my mind but i bought my 1st shirt tt is red n with lace. but it's really nice n a gd bargain. hahas.



went to take flyer wif clinic peeps last sat after wk. we were all dressed in black tee n jeans. hahas. waited for e shuttle bus at swiss hotel at stamford n went for e lunch buffet cum diabetes talk b4 ridin e flyer.

i was darn bored throughout e entire talk cos my vision was blocked by e pillar.

nonetheless, our table won for e quiz- courtesy of mel n eme.

it was actually e paper mouldin located on part of e flyer near e end of e ride.

it was oreadi 1700hr plus when we completed e ride.

wanted to take e flyer shuttle bus back to cityhall onli to realise tt we have to pay 2 bucks.

so we decided to walk back to marina sq under e sun.

there was national day reherasal so we managed to see e tanks on e rd.

went back to nus again wif belle for matriculation on mon. handed up e indemity form for pharm fow camp n signed up for quite a no of activities.there was pilates, yoga, red cross, sports club. i'm gradually more n more excited for campus life. :D

met up wif min n cand again for swensens 1-for-1 lunch n we had ice cream again!! (: shared a banana spilt wif cand while min n belle had macadamia nut sundae. went down to bugis street n iluma for shoppin wif e 2 big bags of nus stuff. it was sure wonderful trainin for my arms. =.= best part of all was tt it started to pour heavily while we tried to cross over to iluma from bugis street. had to carry my umbrella, e bag of stuff n waved thru e wind n rain to get across. there's gonna be more ragging e followin week n i cnt wait for rag day!! :D hopefully pharm camp next wk will be fun n my peers will be as friendly n nice as e seniors. (:
