ntu open house

haha. a super super outdated post. rushed down to ntu open house from my workplace on last last sat. reached jurong east n boarded their shuttle bus. n saw qp n maye in e same bus. (: went to tour ard e campus with their company. heard the tcm + biomed talk n saw phe there tgt with her bf. saw candice on my way n met up with my pri sch buddies. had dinner with my bunch of mj-es. a great get-together for me. (:

my choice. my decision. my journey.

decided to do a different entry today. 2 weeks had past since the release of a's results. open hses are over. most scholarships deadline are over. most pple would have decided the exact course n take on their desired scholarship to pursue their dreams by this time.

after much tot. much research. much discussion. i guess it's time for me to make my choice. n write a new chapter in my life. nonetheless, there is still much hold backs. much uncertainty. abt the decision n choice i'd made. is it e right one? I once came across a quote from Ralph Emerson who said: Trust ur instinct to the end, though u cn render no reason. tt's how i felt exactly. abt my choice for nus pharmacy. it's e 1st course tt came to my mind. n it stuck thru even after open hse. read thru their website over and over again. n their modules. even their 10 reasons why u shld join pharmacy. pretty much fit in.

i'm flying off on monday morn. it's a 8am flight to taiwan. yet i cnt feel a tiny bit of excitement. unlike my last trip to perth. uni courses is all tt i tot of for these past 2 wks. n i nid to submit my choices by this sunday. i'm nt sure wat kind of assurance i nid from pple. perhaps jus tt i'd made e right choice. it's tt simple.

it takes courage to make a choice. n greater courage to be responsible for it.

yup. finally back to my usual postings. :) this is pretty old. hmm last last sun? after my gathering at sizzler. haha. yup.anw, due to my leg, i had to miss cycling at ubin in the morning. :( could onli join 09 peeps for dinner at changi village. met hy at tanan merah b4 meeting e rest at changi village. although i missed e ubin trip, there's still photos to show. :)

dilemma

yupz. i'm really caught in a dilemma. apology to those tt have been readin my posts recently. guess it's pretty much abt uni choices and courses. n e other thing tt has been on my mind constantly is: scholarship. over e years, i have realised tt taking a scholarship really have its pros n cons. while e title gives u prestige n u dont have to worry abt e money. but e burden of e title cn really put pple off at times. n having to maintain e standards set by e committee. nt exactly e kind of stuff i cn take. pple who noe me well enuff will understand wat i meant. :( plus most of e scholarships is bonded. meaning= i nid to noe wat i want. i nid to noe wat's next after uni. but e financial burden on my parents seems to be weighing above e rest. shld i jus swallow in all this to put their mind at ease? it doesnt help at all tt i haven prepare anything for any scholarship.

work is suffice to drain me till nite. so i have very limited time to think n consider. i seriously nid a guiding light. someone who will answer all e queries n worries tt i have. who will be there to answer them?

i'm pretty stranded nw. took half day leave on mon to go back sch for consultation with belle n candice. haha. met up with mr phang and mr goh. but wasnt left with much time b4 i have to rush down to e clinic for night shift. :(

wanted to ask mr goh abt e chemistry courses. or take chem major n be his xuemei. haha. i'm still nt sure if i'm really cut out for chem although i like it.n my forensic sci dream may as well be dashed nw. :( it doesnt help much tt nus is offering a minor. n tt e local job propsect is really narrow. hmm.. shld i even be so thick faced to try medicine. tt used to be my sec sch dream though it's becuming further n further away from me... research? pharmacy? chemistry?

i've been escaping from this. n now it's time to make a decision. wat u decide will lead to wat holds in ur future. i nid a choice. i nid a guiding light.

e release of a's was ytd. i was nervous all the way to e moment i received my results from mdm pan. and i made it. 5As and 2Bs. :) (not exactly fanstatic)

after all tt i had to put on hold.

the release of a's is in 2.5 hrs time. took leave to prepare myself mentally today morning tt watever it is, it is finalised. mdm sun called me to tell me e same thing too. jus like for o's. but it's a totally different feeling. it's a either u're thru or not situation. thinking back, abt e papers, esp bio n gp. it's: :X

clinic gathering @ sizzler :)

went sizzler with my beloved clinic peeps last sun. :) it was meant for a farewell for carms n a gathering. had a great time with them esp with e humorous cecilia ard. haha. everyone was present tt day. my 1st ever gathering with them. hopefully there cn be more in e future. :D
