college day 2009 (:

this yr's college day conicides with aj's 25th anniversary. so it was a pretty major event with invitation to e senior minister of state forr national development & education as e GOH for tt day. had to rush back to aj by 1300hr for a rehearsal b4 e actual thing commence at 1500hr. n so i rushed like mad on foot from e clinic back to sch. met jo b4 changing into e formal clothing n sis's heatwave killer shoes. onli to realise tt flats were allowed for e ceremony as well when i stepped out of e toilet. -.- n pple who noe susan lim noes tt it means trouble for e gal on stage. =/

met up e rest at LT1 where we assembled.

walked in single file from e LT to audi to prevent mixing up of seating arrangement.

n it was a loooong n unsteady walk for me.

nt to mention tt i left a huge huge gap in btw e person in front of me along e way.

embarrassed case 1*

n e audi was filled with pple oreadi when we arrived.

so it means there was NO rehearsal at all. jus verbal instructions to follow.

n prize presentation was e 1st segment.

wobbled down stairs n took no.s.

onli to realise i was no 5 of my team.

means everyone had to wait for me to say bow b4 walking down e stage.

so, i wobbled up e stage stairs n staggered towards e prize presenter.

n saw 4 pairs of eyes lookin at me as i cautiously made my way to e centre of e stage n mumbled "bow".

walked back to e audi with a sigh of relief tt all was over onli to receive mr goh's msg which said: "susan.. u have problems walkin on heels?"

e performance began with CO's superb SYF piece. (above)

followed by choir's SYF piece.

which i personally find it to be a little weird. no offence*

dance society was next.

as usual, i couldnt make a head or tail out of it. hahas.

went down to far east with jo n phe after e entire event as i wanted to search for my bag.

couldnt find it eventually ):

p/s: i wore heels to town n walked from orchard to far east. claps for myself*

it was plain torture.

after much hunting, we decided to stop by yakun for teabreak/ rest/ dinner.

had a french toast set (:

n we sat there and talked for almost 2 hours.

until e shop closed. hahas.
